Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current Oregon RN license without restrictions. Past experience should show satisfactory to superior job performance. EMR –EPIC experience preferred. Current BLS certification required. ACLS& PALS/ENPC within 6 months of hire. TNCC/TEAM within one year of hire. CEN or TCRN preferred. Accountable for patient/family education in collaboration with the interdisciplinary Care Team & patient/family. Demonstrate the ability to apply the nursing process to patient care in an acute care setting. Ability to communicate therapeutically, prepare & maintain patient report & records, react calmly & effectively in urgent & emergent situations. Contributes to the productivity & professionalism environment of the department. Possess the ability to provide appropriate care for the patient’s age-specific, cultural physical, and psychosocial well-being. Ability to provide a safe environment. Supervises and/or provides all nursing care provided to an assigned patient population. Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with patients, peers, the public, physicians, & ancillary department staff. Ability to identify problems & recommend solutions. Must demonstrate strong personal integrity, stamina, & emotional stability.
